Saponated Cresol is a general disinfectant for Hospital and domestic use. It is effective against a wide rang of organisms and is Iess reduced in efficiency in the presence of organic matter than most other disinfectants. It is caustic to the skin and unsuitable for skin and wound disinfection.

FOR FLOORS, WALLS, TOILETS AND WARDS:
On clean surfaces use dilution rate of 1 in 80 -100 for 10 minutes to disinfect completely. For places heavily infested with organic matter like blood, vomit or any other organic matter, use dilution rate 1 in 10 - 50 for 20 minutes to one hour. It kills all spores as well, when disinfected as such.
STERILIZATION OF INSTRUMENTS:
Use dilution at the rate of 1 in 10 - 50 and soak clean instruments for an hour in order to get complete sterilization.
Please note that 0.1m sodium Nitrite must be added to the diluted solution as an anticorrosive agent to prevent rusting.
DRAINS, SEWERAGE, PIPES ETC.:
Use a dilution of 1 in 10 - 50 to disinfect the drains and sewerages.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Harmful in contact with skin and if swallowed. Irritating to eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable protective clothing ensure eye face protection. Do not mix with other chemicals except those recommended by manufacturer. Wash hands after use.
To avoid the risk of chlorophenol taint in milk this product should not be used or stored in or near to dairy livestock housing and milking premises, farm dairies or where milk or products are handled or stored.
